To receive Saorview you need to be connected to an aerial. A lot of homes already have one but if you need an installer we recommend that you contact one of the three professional trade bodies listed below.
National Guild of Master Craftsmen
The National Guild of Master Craftsmen is the largest organisation representing skilled and accredited tradesmen in Ireland.

Formed by professional installers, their core tenet is to adhere to high standards of workmanship and professional conduct.

The UK’s representative trade association for businesses, including installers, that deliver video, audio and data to homes and commercial properties.

As with any service, make sure the companies or individuals you deal with are professional and have a good reputation. Ask your friends or relatives for recommendations – it’s always best to deal with someone you know.
Please note, there is no such thing as a Saorview Approved installer. The aerial installation trade in Ireland is not regulated by any state agency. Saorview recognises the above three professional installer registration bodies who assess installers prior to accepting them for membership.
Only members of a trade body are entitled to use one of the logos listed above. However use of the Saorview logo on vans, clothing, and installation websites is not allowed.
Neither Saorview nor RTÉ will send people to your door to check your television or aerial, nor have they commissioned or endorsed any door-to-door sales activities under the Saorview or RTÉ brand.
Instances of mis-selling of either goods or services should be reported directly to the National Consumer Agency on Lo-call 1890 432 432.
